Rich For the Weekend

That's right living large this weekend. Rachel got a dog sitting gig for some family friends this weekend and these people are LOADED! She invited me to come with her and hang out. Since I hadn't left my bedroom for days I decided it would be a good idea to go on a 'mini' vacation.

Goldendoodle
I've been to this house before once. The guy who lives here is  fabulous at art so there are amazing pieces all over. His sculptures are just jaw dropping incredible  Him and his wife travel a lot so there are also fun little artifacts from so many different places all over the world. One reason why they can afford all of this is because they don't have any kids. Instead of kid they have a GIANT DOG! A large Golden Doodle. He is pretty adorable. He looks like a dog that got a perm. Very well behaved and very sweet! The only thing I don't like about this dog is when he gets playful he gets nippy. It does't hurt but when his mouth fits over your arm its like- That shouldn't be there!

There is also a super sweet man-cave here. This guy has a super sweet 70 inch television.  Its almost wider than I am tall. I WANT THIS TELEVISION! Rachel and I are watching True Lies right now. We are considering watching Avatar on it. Its practically a theater in here. In this super sweet man-cave there is also a billiards table. We've played at least 20 rounds. I still suck at it but I can at least hit the ball!

This place is on the fancy side but since Rachel and I  are poor college students living in an apartment the size of the man-cave we are pretending to be fancy rich snobs.

"Darling lets eat lunch on the breakfast nook the sun is just coming off that ridge oh so wonderfully"
"I agree, are we going to play polo on the lawn this evening or shall we host a dinner party and invite The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?"

Shit Getting Fancy Up in Here

(The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is William and Kate, for you non-fancy folk)

Does Anyone Read This?

Is anyone out there reading? Some days I feel like it's just me...alone...talking to myself...yeah...

I'm a little depressed. And I don't know why I'm surprised but I am. It's just like an entire friendship really just dissolved before my eyes. Not for my lack of trying. I've tried reaching out but it is impossible to make contact. Time takes its toll on friendship. It might just be me being slightly feverish and emotional-ness but I just feel. I don't know I guess I just look like barely a speckle on the map that is her life.

Anyways I still feel sick. I went to my advising appointment and it was less than helpful I was hoping I'd find and for sure set graduation date. I just want to know this learning shit will come to an end!

Rachel and I are at some rich peoples house watching Weird Science on their 70 inch T.V. It is awesome. I'm feeling better. Still kind of ick gross but better.

I think Robert Downey Jr. in Weird Science is is just Dorkly Adorable.

Accepting the Fate of the Presidential Election

By now all of you know that Obama was re-elected as our nations president. Here are my feelings on the matter.

Yesterday I was sporting a fever of a solid 99 degrees a little delirious. Just ask my Mom and Rachel. I'm not really into politics but for some reason I started crying because I thought Mitt Romney was going to win. I would also like to follow that statement by I cried because I realized we had sour cream and I cried because I realized I was talking to myself...yeah super sound mind here.

Vote Winners- Stop saying THANK GOD. Romney couldn't of done any damage to the US. He Couldn't of, Get over it.

Vote Losers- Stop saying that Obama is going to ruin our nation. He isn't. In 4 more years we will have another republican president. Get over it.

Non-Voters- Shut up you have NOTHING to add to any conversation. Get over it.

I did vote for Barack Obama. However even though I disagreed with some of Mitt Romney's views, even if he were to of been elected it would not be the end of America. Nor is Obama going to destroy america. I think that everyone needs to lighten up. Stop bringing such negativity to the world and accept the fact that this man will be president for four more years. I would not want to have the job that these  men run for and I commend them for dealing with the worlds most difficult job where there is no unanimously happy people.

Even if Romney was elected I would accept it and hope for the best. Can't we just all be adults and  not be little whiney bitches?

I'm still sporting fever today. I've been in bed for over 24 hours. So cruddy.

Sick and Miserable

Oh golly jeepers readers. This kid is sicker than yesterday, has a 99 degree fever (I run low so 99 is pretty high for me), who used neosporin as lip balm (holy shit it works so well), who has also had a New Girl marathon. I feel miserable. Rachel has been a saint. She has only done three little measly things for me but it has helped so much.

I skipped all my classes today. Ate top ramen and crackers. Yeah, that is my day.

My 23rd Birthday!

Guess what today is my precious readers?

MY 23rd BIRTHDAY

Whoa, Awesome, Cool, No Way!

It was an ok birthday. And the only thing that made it ok is the fact that I am sick! *Cough* AND I had to drive a total of 5 hours today. I'm done driving.

However I did get to see a lot of awesome people from Wildlife Safari and the Newport Aquarium.
I feel like I am not really in a blog writing mood because of my snot filled headache. So I will elaborate later on my twenty-third birthday!

Dad's Weekend

I apologize blog readers for my absence! Dad's Weekend took much time away from blog mostly because we were so active. And so inactive. We ate and hung out and stuff. On Friday night I took the dad to my favorite Karaoke bar and we tried winning a bike by buying beers. We didn't win a bike but we did get free t-shirts! The next day was the football game. Unfortunately I began having cold symptoms, I became cranky and miserable with a sore throat. But we went to the game anyway and had a great time.

It really wasn't that cold out but I was prepared and had a shit ton of layers on. I had two socks, two pairs of leggings, jeans, a tank top, and underarmor long sleeve shirt. a t-shirt, a sweatshirt and a fancy pantsy new hat. Here are some game day photos for your viewing pleasure!
Footballers!

WE WIN!
And That concludes Dad's Weekend!

Happy November Bitches

Happy November Bitches!

My daddy is here with me! We just watched the Avengers and like I thought my dad LOVED it. I took a picture of us...He made a funny face. I said I'm using it. He is giggling at himself now. He said he looks like the Hulk. Minus the Green factor of course. Yeah.... that's my dad.

Well I finally got my Genetics midterm back. I squeezed by with a B! 80.5% Baby! YEAH! I'm very excited about it. I made some dumb mistakes but it still worked out in my benefit. Hopefully I will do better on the next one. If I do get a B on the next one I don't even have to take the final because the lowest test score drops. That's my goal. I would like to focus on only two classes for finals. That would be really nice!

This weekend is going to be a fun/stressful weekend. I have SO much to do but Dorky McGee is here so I have to spend time with him for Dad's Weekend. I also have to go to my friend Glenda's Wedding Reception at home. Then I have to drive back to school and do fun things that I have yet to divulge what is happening.

I'm going to watch another movie with the Dad so, I will blog you tomorrow!
